HANOVER, Ind. – The Panther women's soccer team enters the contest with Bluffton 6-5-1 overall, 3-1 HCAC after falling in double overtime to Rose-Hulman, 3-2.
REVIEW: The Panthers were led in the contest with the Fightin' Engineers by sophomore Autumn Boothby (Mount Orab, Ohio) and sophomore Maggie Day (Sellersburg, Ind.) with one goal apiece. As a team, the Blue and Red finished with 11 shots, nine of which were on frame.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Panthers have tallied 23 goals on 184 shots for a .125 shot percentage. The Blue and Red are averaging 15.3 shots per contest led by Boothby with a team-high 33 shots. The sophomore currently sits among the top in goals (7) and points (15). Sophomore Amanda Carmosino (Noblesville, Ind.) continues to dominate between the post as she has played 989 minutes with 62 saves.
SCOUTING BLUFFTON: The Beavers enter the contest 5-8 overall, 2-2 HCAC after defeating Earlham 2-1. Bluffton is led this season by Maddie Huffman with four goals and 10 points. The junior has taken 38 shots, with 31 landing on frame. As a team, the Beavers have tallied 15 goals on 178 shots. They have posted a .455 shot on goal percentage with 10 assists.
